who is jorts publishing?

Okay, look, we publish books. Sometimes we even write them. We’re a publisher; what kind of amazing story were you expecting?

Long story short, the owner and creator of Jorts Publishing had this brother-in-law that wasn’t very, for the sake of being courteous, slang terminology inclined. Words and phrases like “drip” and “it’s giving” drew a baffled look all over his face. So we wrote a book to give the brother-in-law a helping hand. Insert “C.U.N.T.” (pun always intended; that’s kind of the whole point of this thing). Half guide, half gag gift, the book inspired us to full-commit to the bit and make this facetious company. And now, we staff nearly a dozen unwilling and unaware individuals with intentions of doubling that in the next year. We’re working with (legally speaking, nonexistent) authors to make their dreams come true and share their work with the world.

So there you have it… not the most inspiring or uplifting start to a business, but it’s ours nonetheless. And now that we’re here, we intend to be the most subpar fictional company to ever exist and will continue to strive for mediocracy each and every day!
